Hey y’all! I’m so excited to share a recent discovery with you guys! So, a few weeks ago I was scrolling on IG and came across these super cute and functional tote bags. I’d passively been looking for a good beach/pool bag big enough to lug all of our family gear. We’d been using either a nylon book-bag or a reusable shopping bag – they just weren’t big nor cute enough!
Now, back to the awesome Bogg Bag. Once I watched a few reviews on YouTube, I was sold! The hard part was trying to find a bag that was in stock – I couldn’t find it on the official site nor the Dillards site 😩. Luckily on the Bogg Bag’s IG account they made a post asking for customers to share where they found their bags (they have thousands of vendors). So, long story short – I found the bag on Uline.com entitled the Ultimate Tote bag and received the bag 2 days later!
I grabbed the Large size in Coral but they come in 2 sizes and offer at least 20 different colors. Check out the video below showing you how I pack the bag for a family of 6.
This past weekend Darwyn and I were able to have a nice little day-date so we decided to go to a local black-owned brewery Hippin Hops Brewery + Oyster Bar. The vibes, beers and oysters were all great – I would definitely recommend. I knew I wanted to be cute yet comfy so I went with a oversized linen shirt dress, denim shorts, a mid height heel and my metallic green Brandon Blackwood ESR(end systemic racism) Tote. Of course, I didn’t forget to layer up the gold necklaces – the more the merrier for me!
Usually I either wear my hair naturally curly or throw a wig on but this time I wanted to try something different. So, I blew my hair out and slicked it back (using got to be glued freeze spray) into two low buns. I also, added braiding hair to each bun to create fullness. I lowkey felt like I was giving Princess Leia vibes but hey I went with it.
For my makeup I went with a bronzy tones using the products linked below.

We had a great day/night connecting and taking time away from the kids.
Nordstrom is one of my favorite stores to shop! They always carry some of the best brands and latest styles. Whenever they have a huge sale I jump on it! As of now, they are having the Half Yearly Sale (not the same as the anniversary sale). This sale features more Spring/Summer ready styles for up to 50% off. I’ve listed a few of my favorites from the sale for you – it ends on June 6th so check it out. 🙂
If you remember, I forgot my entire suitcase when we went down to Florida for vacation in April. We stayed for a week so I needed to grab a weeks worth of clothing (swimsuits, shirts, bottoms, shoes, jackets, etc.). To remedy the issue, I quickly jumped on the Target app and ordered a bunch of stuff for pick up. In less than a few hours I my order was ready and I was ready to take on the week. I grabbed a bunch of wardrobe basics: T-Shirts, Shorts, Jeans, Pajamas, Undergarments and a Swimsuit. Check it out below.
Hey y’all! This post is all about my love for the Dagne Dover | Landon Bag (small). As I explain in the video above – I use this bag more than any other bag I own. The neoprene material and functional pockets are a perfect fit for our family. I say family because let’s face it, it’s loaded with all the kids’ (2 toddlers) stuff. At any given moment you can find:
a toddler sized shoe (don’t ask)
toys
snacks
travel/sippy cups
pull ups + wipes
face masks
sanitizer/hand lotion
Lip gloss
a tablet/cell phone/air pods
Literally, YOU NAME IT, it’s in there. The high-tech neoprene fabric is water resistant and hand washable. It’s insulating and shock-absorbent so needless to say it’s been through a lot and still looks brand new. I love how even though its usually loaded with stuff I can still find everything easily! This due to the great features (small size):
10.5″ x 6.75″ Tablet Sleeve
Exterior Phone Pocket (my iPhone 11 can fit)
Air Mesh Zip Top Pouch
2 Air Mesh Pockets (I use these to carry drinks)
1 large zipper pocket
Detachable Key Leash
The bag comes in XS, S, M, L and XL sizes and 11 different colors.
Mules have been regaining popularity within the last couple of years. For me, I love ease of wear and the casual yet chic feel of a mule. I thought it would be cool to take a stab at making a reel to share my love for the style. Check out a few of my favs in it above!

Have you tried the Mule style yet? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for hanging! – Dominique <3
Hey guys! Don’t you love it when you discover great athlesure that’s actually cute and functional? I know I do! So, when I discover Outdoor Voices (via IG last year) I immediately decided to follow because they seemed to fit into that mold. It took me a little while to pull the trigger with purchasing but recently I did and I don’t regret it one bit!
Once my shipment arrived I couldn’t wait to try everything on. The fabric on each piece felt great on my skin, even though everything had ample stretch, I felt really secure. With being a mom of 2 toddlers – I have some extra meat in places I wish I didn’t so, feeling like everything is secure (in my clothes) is something I really look for (IYKYK!).
Here, I paired the Court Skort with a sweatshirt, bucket hat and some sneakers. I could wear this to the park, shopping, out eat, you name it. There’s literally unlimited possibilities with what you can do with each piece.
I’m pretty sure my family and I will hit a walking trail within the next week so I’ll snap some pics in the Exercise Dress to post then.

There’s nothing like heading out the door in a pair of your most comfortable shoes. Not only comfortable but they literally go with everything – time saving, comfy and cute – Sign. Me. Up. The Teva Universal Sandal is that for me – I love them! Teva offers a bunch of different styles but I’ve only tried the Universal. I’m pretty sure my next purchase will be the Midform.
Besides being cute and comfy I love what the brand stands for – this is the Teva brand promise: The original icon was created to give people the freedom to roam. We inspire those who crave experiences and connections, in whatever form they take. That self-defining idea of freedom still holds true today. We live for moments of discovery and awe. Finding newness and wonder in each new experience — from the everyday to epic. We’re forever hungry for knowledge gained by experiencing the world through different cultures, people, and places. Day in and day out, we strive to be your guide for adventure in whatever form you choose.
Starting in 2020, all iconic straps across Teva’s entire product line will be made from traceable, verifiable recycled plastic. So good, right?!
Come with me as I show you how I style/wear my Teva Universal Sandal.
Straight Leg Jeans + White Shirt
You gotta love a good sturdy pair of 100% cotton straight leg/mom jeans. The cut is really flattering on a curvy shape. With them being 100% cotton they may be a bit tight at first but as the day goes on they will stretch to fit your body perfectly! My favorite pair are the Levi’s 501 Original Fit. Whether you leave be or roll them up, you can’t go wrong with these. Also, who can resist a nice crisp white blouse?? I sure can’t!
Skinny Jeans + Boxy T-Shirt | Monochrome
I love a good monochrome look! This is pretty much taking one color (no matter the shade) and wearing it. Here, I chose to use one of my favorite colors – green. Y’all I have so many different items in my closet this shade of green. It’s kinda ridiculous! What can I say – it’s a neutral that can go with anything. They say skinny jeans are going out of style but I still love a good high-waist ankle length skinny especially if it has some fraying at the hem.
Shorts + Slouchy Knit Sweater
Hello Spring/Summer Sweater! A slouchy, thick knit sweater paired with a pair of cute shorts has to be one of my favorite combos. It reads easy breezy/hanging out seaside.
Sundress
Last but not least – The Sundress. A sundress has to be one of the easiest outfits. You put it on and instantly feel pulled together. Can wear it to run errands, brunch, date night, you name it. Random: I don’t wear dresses often but when I do I almost always wear shorts underneath. I found some great ones by Jockey that wick away sweat and keeps you cool on those hot sticky summer days.
Please, let me know if y’all grab a pair or how you feel about your current pair.
After being in our home for over 4 years we’ve finally decided to organize/clean out our 2 car garage. We pretty much housed any and everything in our garage along side of 2 large SUVs so needless say we were cramped for space. We use the garage as our main entry point into the house so whenever we brought in groceries, got the kids out the car, etc. we had to squeeze past/step over a bunch of stuff just to get inside – it was a bit much. One day, I randomly jumped up and said – We’re getting this garage in order and that’s that!
Right Side | Entry
This area was a major pain point because it is the pathway to the entrance of the house. No matter which side of the garage we parked on, we had to walk past this area. There’s bird feed, scooters, bikes, paint, Christmas décor, a step ladder and so much more in the before photo. To be honest most of this stuff just needed a new home or to be tossed out so that’s exactly what I did.
Below, is the corner right next to the door – here I had most of my shipping supplies stored for my resell business (Domi’s Closet) and a few other knickknacks. I cleared everything out then hung a muli-purpose hook where our our small/travel stroller (we love our Colugo stroller!) and step ladder would be housed.
Right Corner
This area is at the right corner, closer to the garage door. Here I placed two stackable storage bins to house my shipping supplies, our empty gas can, bug spray and a few other things.
Left Side of Garage
This side is pretty crazy too! It housed most of our yard tools and equipment. For this area I just needed to get everything off of the ground and up onto to hooks.
After
We used an adjustable storage rail to hang the large tools and some of our beach gear. Also, I used a Flip-Up Padded Utility Hook to hold 2 scooters and a helmet. Sn: our lawn mower is great for a home with little to no storage room – the fact that it’s foldable and has a rechargeable battery is a game changer!
The small tools and battery charging station.

The cost of this project was around $75 and took me about 3 hours to complete. I consider this a small price to pay for peace! Y’all, It really feels good to be able to walk comfortably in the garage. I guess I didn’t realize how much this area bothered me until we organized it.
